Last updated: 28 October 2026. App: Lamplight Lane (io.aiocean.colorconnect). Website: lamplight.aiocean.io.
Lamplight Lane is a puzzle game published by the developer shown on its App Store and Google Play pages ("we"). This page describes what the app does with data, written from how the app is built. Questions and requests: contact@aiocean.io.
In short
- The game works without an account. All your game data is stored on your device only. We run no server that receives it.
- The app shows ads through Google AdMob. To do that, AdMob receives your device's advertising identifier and other technical data.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the app asks for your consent before ads load. On iPhone it also shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- Purchases go through the app store and RevenueCat.
- The app contains no analytics SDK. It is not directed to children: it is for people aged 13 or older.
1. What stays on your device
Your progress, chapters, skill level, hint balance, streak, settings and a short log of anonymous gameplay events (for example, which size of puzzle you played) are stored on your device in the app's local storage. This data is never sent to us or to any other party. Uninstalling the app removes all of it, and "Reset progress" in Settings clears your progress. There is no account, no sign-in and no cloud backup, so this data does not move to a new phone.
2. Ads: Google AdMob
The app shows ads (interstitial and optional rewarded videos) through Google AdMob. While ads load and show, Google receives data from your device, and Google's partners may receive it too. According to Google's AdMob disclosures this includes:
- the advertising identifier (Advertising ID on Android, IDFA on iPhone, which is zeroed if you decline tracking on iPhone);
- your IP address, from which an approximate location can be derived;
- device and app information, ad interactions (such as views and taps) and diagnostics such as crash and performance data.
Google uses this for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. We do not receive this data, and we do not sell it. Google's own terms apply: how Google uses information from apps that use its services. Buying "Remove Ads" stops the ads shown between puzzles; ads you choose to watch for a hint stay available.
3. Consent and how to change it
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: on launch the app shows a consent message from Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Ads load only after this step allows it. You can say no; ads may then be less relevant or limited.
- iPhone: the app shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before it requests personalized ads. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", ads still appear but cannot use the advertising identifier. You can change this later in iOS Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking.
- Withdraw or change consent: open Settings in the app and tap "Privacy choices" to reopen the consent message. The row is shown where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland).
- Android: you can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's system settings (usually under Privacy or Google, then Ads).
4. Purchases: the app stores and RevenueCat
Optional purchases (Remove Ads and hint packs) are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details. To unlock what you bought, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives your purchase receipt, product identifiers and a random anonymous app user ID created on your device (there is no account to link it to). RevenueCat and the stores keep purchase records as the law requires for accounting and refunds. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
5. Daily reminder
If you choose to turn it on, the app schedules one local reminder per day on your device. It is created by your phone, not by a server, and nothing about it is sent to us. You can turn it off in the app's Settings or in your device's notification settings.
6. What we do not collect
There are no accounts, so we collect no name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone or precise location data. The app contains no analytics SDK and no social features. We receive nothing about you unless you write to us (section 10).
7. Third-party SDKs in the app
@capacitor-community/admob: Google AdMob and the UMP consent form. Data goes to Google (section 2).@revenuecat/purchases-capacitor: RevenueCat purchases. Data goes to RevenueCat and the store (section 4).@capacitor/preferences: local storage of your game data. Nothing leaves your device.@capacitor/haptics: vibration feedback. Nothing leaves your device.@capacitor/local-notifications: the optional daily reminder. Nothing leaves your device.@capacitor-community/in-app-review: asks the operating system to show its rating prompt. The app receives no answer and no data.@capacitor/app-launcher: opens a link or your mail app when you tap Privacy policy, Contact support or Report an ad. Nothing is sent by the app itself.capacitor-native-settings: opens the system notification settings page. Nothing leaves your device.@capacitor/app: tells the app when it comes to the foreground. Nothing leaves your device.@capacitor/share: opens your phone's share sheet when you tap Share on the win screen. The app draws a picture on your device (Pip, your stars, how hard the puzzle was, the game name and address) and hands it, with a short message and a link to lamplight.aiocean.io, to the share sheet. Where it goes is your choice; the app itself sends nothing.@capacitor/filesystem: saves that picture to the app's temporary cache folder so the share sheet can read it. The operating system may clear it at any time. Nothing leaves your device.
8. Children
Lamplight Lane is not directed to children under 13. It is for general audiences aged 13 and older, and the app does not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, email us and we will help you remove what can be removed.
9. Retention and deleting your data
- On your device: uninstall the app to remove all of it, or use "Reset progress" in Settings to clear your progress. We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to delete.
- Held by Google, Apple and RevenueCat: ad data and purchase records follow their own retention rules. Email us at contact@aiocean.io with your request and the platform you use, and we will tell you what we can do and where to send the request to each of them.
- Where the law gives you rights over your data (for example access, deletion or objection under the GDPR), you can use the same email address.
10. Security, changes and contact
The SDKs above send data over encrypted connections (TLS). If we change this page we will update the date at the top. Questions, deletion requests and consent questions: contact@aiocean.io.
